Mountain Junkies Timing Services

Mountain Junkies L.L.C. has added Timing & Event Management. We are a locally owned and operated company with a focus on expert timing and event management, and offer some of the most up to date event timing equipment on the market. In July of 2010 Mountain Junkies L.L.C. purchased the BibTag Timing System. This new system from MyLaps includes a disposable timing bib number. As runners cross the finish line, a chip in the bib number will record their time. The system is very accurate and is being implemented at all major races.

The MYLAPS BibTag System combines a more friendly handling process with the quality and experience of the existing Champion Chip Systems. The disposable chip system allows runners to have more flexibility at the finish line, since removal of the chip is no longer required.

Mountain Junkies Timing and Event Management is an extension of Mountain Junkies L.L.C. which began in 2007 promoting trail races in the Roanoke Valley. Since 2007 Mountain Junkies has developed and hosted 27 events. In 2009 Mountain Junkies expanded to offer the “RNUTS” trail race series with great success. Mountain Junkies L.L.C. focus is to utilize its experience and expertise to provide expert timing and to help you put on a successful event.
