Results are to the Right
Finally a Mill Mountain Mayhem with ideal conditions; nice temps, cool breezes, abundant sunshine and little growth on the trees which offered easier viewing of the runners on the trails. Thank you for coming out. We hope you had a good time and will make it out to one of our future events. First time Mountain Junkies LLC racers, let us know what you thought.
There aren't many trails that are more technical than the Star Trail. It's difficulty and length make this course one of my favorites. This year's split at that Star tells another story. It shows who is conservative and who let's gravity take over. I enjoy these splits because they help me know what was going on out there on the course and they give me an inside look on how the race unfolded.
We put on these races for a lot of reasons but I continue to come back to a quote from the originator of the Leadville 100, Kenneth Chlouber, "you are tougher than you think you are and you can do more than you think you can."
Find your limit and push on a little further.
Thank you to birthday boy TK Miller for being a part of this year's race. Seems like the feedback on the two shirt colors has been positive.

One of the Course Records fell today with a 45:58 being run by Melissa Teeple. That is an incredible time and 3:22 faster than the prior record.
